With homage to her city life, Bre combines the city lifestyle, effortless aesthetic and statement details to her designs. Bre started her design career recreating old clothing and putting on fashion shows at her school. She later merge into custom prom dresses but then had to stop to put all her focus on Bre Nikole.
“I wanted my clothing brand to be a designer brand, and or a design house using my name. Most calls me ‘Bre’ and my middle name Nikole has a unique spelling. It’s spelled with a ‘K’ instead of a ‘C’. So, I combined the two names and. Bre Nikole was created. Plus, it has a nice ring to it.”
Bre graduated with her bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from the Art Institute with internship experience in NYC. During her education, it was very important to have a niche market, but Bre couldn’t figure out her niche. Between classes, she would go into different retailers to try on clothes for inspiration. During this one particular time, she became very frustrated, but the clothes were too short. She then found her niche, Tall Women. Bre is 5’7” and struggles with finding clothes that fits her lengths. She also understands that if she is struggling, women that are much taller are struggling too. Bre’s value as a designer is Fit, Style and Knowledge. It now her mission to solve problem tall women face when shopping for clothing.
